I'm very grateful that Bobby and I are able to spend some time together before I take off as he has been gone since Thanksgiving and comes home on Friday, so I'm just filled with all kinds of excitement ha! 10 days later we will say good bye and this will be a change as I'm usually the one being left, not leaving. A bit heart breaking, but his support is extremely encouraging. I've had mixed reviews from family and friends on whether this is the "right" thing to do, for our marriage or just in general, and though the negative has been discouraging, Bobby and I feel we are doing what is best for both of us, so I have to remind myself that's what truly matters. I was talking to a gal at my work who I don't know very well, but her words and advice were touching. "You are young, you don't have kids holding you back. Do your thing while he does his at school, it doesn't change the fact you are married, you two have your whole lives together ahead of you. Take advantage of this opportunity. I'd much rather you do this than be at home alone pregnant or raising a child at your age. You will look back and be glad you did this." Maybe I didn't quote her exact word for word, but it was something along those lines. Support like that is always warming.
Moving to Seattle was a big change for me alone, so I know the first couple months in another Country with new people will be quite an adjustment.. Being so far away from everything I know intimidates me a tad, but I'm sure when my time is up, I won't want to leave!
Have lots of things to do with in the next week to get me prepared and all packed!
